The City of Wolverhampton Regenerating Buildings Preservation Trust (CoWRBPT)
The City of Wolverhampton Regenerating Buildings Trust was established in 2002 to save and restore historic buildings at risk across the whole area of the city: from Bilston to Bushbury and Tettenhall to Wednesbury. We are a registered charity and can act as a not for profit developer to secure long term sustainable futures for listed buildings at serious risk. We also aim to promote appreciation of historic buildings and areas across the City and have worked closely with the Wolverhampton City Council.
In 2016 the Trust entered into a Collaboration Agreement with the West Midlands Historic Building Trust, and the Worcestershire Building Preservation Trust. This will enhance our ability to pursue further projects in and around the City of Wolverhampton.
The three Trusts are run by a single Management Committee made up of specialists in the field of building conservation.
These individuals serve as Trustees and give their time, on a voluntary basis, to support the activities of the 3 Trusts.
